Chicago Healthcare Alliance Lions Club believes that remembering our elders is an act of love. This holiday season, we shared personalized cards that carry messages of hope, gratitude, and care. Each card assures them they are part of a community that values them, remembers them, and stands beside them always. Due to privacy reasons, we did not take photos of the elderly with their faces. #LeadtoserveServetoLead #WeServe #elderlycare #LionsClubsInternational 🦁❤️

We’re keeping in mind the countless Americans who struggle with limited access to food assistance. CHALC recently donated non-perishable food to the Self-Help Closet and Food Pantry, founded in 1971 and still guided by its founders’ mission to care for neighbors in need. Despite the rain, through ongoing support, CHALC helps provide food and clothing to those facing homelessness, particularly during harsh winter conditions. Heartfelt thanks to all our donors for your continued generosity.Image attachmentImage attachment+6Image attachment

Message from Charter President

When Chicago Healthcare Alliance Lions Club (CHALC) was chartered in July, our vision was clear: leading the healthcare and advocating for the underserved and underprivileged in Chicago. The global health emergency taught us enduring lessons and highlighted the unwavering support of the medical community, including our Lions.

Despite pandemic setbacks and losses, our commitment to quality healthcare persists. Tonight, with the support of Lions International, we move a step close to our goal. As President of CHALC, I’m honored to accept this charter on behalf of our Lions, pledging hard work and dedication in service.

United by our desire to help, we face challenges together, making positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate. As Lions, our supreme purpose is to serve others.

From this night onward, we give new meaning to the words: We serve! CHALC, as a whole, serves from the heart, valuing each member for their genuine intention to care and serve.

Together, we are changing the world.
Keep roaring, Dear Lions!

Lea S. Agaton BSN, BSBA, RN
Charter President 2023-2025
